Tell us your brief life story?
I was born and raised in Florida. I earned a bachelor’s degree from Florida Atlantic University. After graduation, I came to Maryland for an internship and ended up meeting my future husband. I’ve been here for five years. I feel like I have two home states now: Florida and Maryland.

Tell us about your military career?
I am still at the beginning of my military career, but I am looking forward to opportunities to learn and get better at my new job.

What brought you to the MDANG? How have you enjoyed your time here?
After graduating from college, I still didn’t have a career plan. A friend recommended the Maryland Air National Guard. I looked at the job options and thought intelligence sounded interesting. In a few years, I went from not knowing the MDANG existed, to being a proud member with a fulfilling career ahead of me.

What is your favorite Air Force or military memory or story?
Basic training is the most fun you never want to have again. Fortunately, my husband was extremely supportive from 1,600 miles away. He wrote me a letter every single day. When I finally got to see him on graduation weekend, he accepted my paranoia about the training instructors hiding in the bushes.

What is your proudest moment?
Receiving the Top Graduate Award at Technical School.

What are you passionate about?
Learning, family, travel, and video games.
