Outstanding Airmen of the Year announced

Leadership of the 175th Wing Maryland Air National Guard have selected and announced the wing's top enlisted members for Outstanding Airman of the Year. Twenty nine members from five groups including Airman, Non-commissioned officer, Senior Non-commissioned officer, Honor Guard and First Sergeant were considered for the title of Outstanding Airman of the Year. Leadership selected five Airmen based on leadership skills, personal achievements and job performance.

Tech. Sgt. Juliann Johnston, Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year, 175th Logistics Readiness Squadron

Senior Master Sgt. Steven Mooney, Senior Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year, 175th Logistics Readiness Squadron

Master Sgt. Robert Ignozzi, First Sergeant of the Year, 175th Maintenance Squadron

Master Sgt. Michael Glaze, Honor Guard Member of the Year, 175th Civil Engineering Squadron

The winners of the 175th Wing Airman of the Year competition will now have their names forwarded to the National Guard Bureau level Airman of the Year competition.
