Tell us your brief life story?
Born in Baltimore City grew up in Ellicott City.
I attended Mt. Hebron High School (Go Vikings) and joined the Air National Guard right out of school. After tech school I attended Fredrick Community College where I earned my A&P License to work on civilian aircraft. I worked for America West Airlines at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, I was let go after the September 11th attacks. I worked for DynaCorp, Andrew's Support Group, working on Presidential Aircraft. Then I took a full-time position with the Guard in the C-130 engine shop, and then transitioned to crew chief. After BRAC (Base Closure and Realignment Commission) took our C-130J planes away, I took a position with the Maryland State Police working the MEDVAC helicopters at Martin State Airport. I'm currently cross training to a new AFSC, Cyber System Operator, with the 275 OSS. I completed technical school last year and I'm currently in upgrade training.

Tell us about your military career?
I enter the military because of my pre-9/11 patriotic pride. I wanted to serve my country in honor of those who fought before me.

What brought you to the MDANG? 
How have you enjoyed your time here?
I had family bring me to the Guard. I have enjoyed the Guard by training with a great group of people. Working hard and then partying hard.


What is your favorite Air Force or military memory or story?
Most memorable experience that I have was repairing a C-130 engine in Afghanistan on the ready line that needed to take off to air drop water and ammo to Army troops in a fire fight with the enemy. 


What are you passionate about?
Spending time with my wife and children is important. If I could, I would be a stay at home Dad. I enjoy teaching my children things that I learned as child and try new things with them. I'm currently teaching my daughter to shoot a bow. I was proud of her when she hit the bull's eye the other day. I do gymnastics with my son and it has been awesome to see him physically and mentally maturing. He got his first little medal a few weeks ago and he was proud of it.   Other things I enjoy on my free time are firearms, fishing, just about anything outdoors and just hanging out with friends.
