The Legacy Continues as Airman Joins Father in Guard

Colin Anderson son of Chief Master Sgt. Ronald C. Anderson, Jr. of the National Guard Bureau took the oath of enlistment today at the Maryland Air Guard, Warfield Air National Guard Base in Middle River, Md.,

Brig. Gen. Allyson Solomon, the assistant adjutant general-air, Maryland National Guard, and special assistant to the Chief of National Guard Bureau, was asked to conduct the enlistment oath of Chief Anderson's son.

Airman Basic Colin Anderson will join the 135th Maintenance Squadron as an avionics specialist.

Chief Anderson was stationed at Warfield Air National Guard Base - the same base his son will begin his military career. Chief Anderson was a production recruiter before leaving to join the Guard Bureau in June 2005.
