  • CMSAF Visits 175th Wing Airmen at Mass Vaccination Site

    Airmen from the 175th Wing, Maryland Air National Guard, welcomed Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force JoAnne S. Bass during a visit to the COVID-19 mass vaccination site at M&T Bank Stadium, May 3, 2021. Bass met with Airmen who are helping to support state and civilian partners administer more than 220,000 COVID-19 vaccines to Maryland residents.
  • Maryland National Guard Helping With Strategic National Stockpile Push

    Recently activated Maryland Air National Guardsmen are now working at a Strategic National Stockpile location in Maryland, preparing and loading medical supplies and equipment needed for the state’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Maryland Department of Health, working with Governor Larry Hogan’s COVID-19 Emergency Response Team, has developed an allocation plan for scarce resources to provide as much protection as possible to the state's most vulnerable populations, considering the level of need, as well as access in the commercial pipeline.
  • Maryland National Guard helps cruise passengers get home

    Eight Airmen with the Maryland Air National Guard’s 175th Wing, and medical specialists with the Maryland Department of Health, transported nine passengers from BWI to their homes in Maryland. The Airmen also brought food and essential supplies to allow the passengers to self-quarantine for at least two weeks.
