175th Wing Deploys to Estonia / Operation Atlantic Resolve
Members of the British Army's 5th Battalion, The Rifles, 20th Armored Brigade exit a U.S. Army CH-47 Chinook Aug. 9, 2017, on Tapa Army Base, Estonia. During an exercise with A-10C Thunderbolt II’s from the 175th Wing, Maryland Air National Guard, U.S. Army Soldiers are participating in a flying training deployment funded by the European Reassurance Initiative in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve. The U.S. Air Force’s forward presence in Europe allows the U.S. to work with allies and partners to develop and improve ready air forces capable of maintaining regional security.
