Engine Work
Staff Sgt. Dave Ranlet, 175th Logistic Readiness Squadron, works on an R-2800 engine previously used in World War II fighters like the P-47 Thunderbolt II and F-4U Corsair on November 15th. When the engine is fully restored, it will be on display in the Glenn L. Martin Maryland Aviation Museum in Baltimore. Ranlet volunteers his time rebuilding engines for the museum.
