After the pre-flight inspection process is completed at Exercise Red Flag 14-3, Eielson Air Force Base, Ak., 4 A-10C Thunderbolt II aircraft from Warfield Air National Guard Base, Baltimore, Md. are ready for taxiing and take-off. Exercise Red Flag – Alaska is a 10 day exercise that is a series of Pacific Air Forces commander-directed field training exercises for U.S. forces, provides joint offensive counter-air, interdiction, close air support, and large force employment training in a simulated combat environment.
