Birth of the 135th
Members of the Maryland Air National Guard's 135th Air Resupply Group pose in front of one of the unit's C-46 Commando aircraft on Sept. 10, 1955, the day the unit received federal recognition. The 135th was one of only a handful of Air Force special air warfare units in existence at the time. (Released)
