Dummy Round

For a new course of fire in small arms qualification, a dummy round is loaded into a magazine. The round will jam in the rifle so that the Airman gains experience in solving the problem of round not firing and needing to be cleared from the gun. The Maryland Air National Guard is in the process of changing the course of fire for small arms qualification which is mandated by the Air Force.
