Tell us your brief life story?

I was born and raised in Queens, NY where I lived until I was 27. I attended Vaughn College in Queens, NY as a full-time student studying aviation. It was at Vaughn I met my Air National Guard recruiter and I was influenced me to join.

Tell us about your military career?

At the age of 16 I knew I wanted to be in the Air Force because of my passion for aviation and service.  I enlisted as 3S/Personnel and will remain in that AFSC. I enjoy working within the personnel field because I get gratification from assisting others. I am proud to be able to provide a critical service to our members.

What brought you to the MDANG?  How have you enjoyed your time here?

I was commuting 5 hours every drill to NYNG and a prior Army friend suggested I look into joining the MDANG. I would have to say it was the best decision I made. I have started a career, graduated with my CCAF and most importantly gained the best of friends with this unit.

What is your favorite Air Force or military memory or story?

My proudest moment in the Air Force is working under the Public Affairs Office. Although I do not have their AFSC, they welcomed my passion for photography and helped train me. They gave me the opportunity show my potential during Snowbird Convey 2015. I was able to get some amazing shots and my pictures were presented in an article.

What are you passionate about?

I am passionate about making a difference by excelling in any endeavor I encounter. When I'm involved in an assignment at work I always want to achieve success. I apply this same theory when I participate in projects in my spare time.
